1. About ConnectSphere

ConnectSphere provides AI-powered companionship for supportive, platonic conversation. All companions on ConnectSphere are artificial intelligence — not real people, licensed therapists, counsellors, or medical professionals. ConnectSphere does not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use ConnectSphere. By creating an account and starting a free trial or paid subscription, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and legally able to enter into these Terms.

3. AI Disclosure

You acknowledge and agree that every companion on ConnectSphere is an AI. Companions are not real people and do not possess human feelings, consciousness, or independent judgement. We will never represent a companion as a real person. Your interactions are generated by AI and may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate; you should use your own judgement when relying on any output.

4. Not Therapy or Medical Care

ConnectSphere is a wellbeing and companionship tool. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, medical advice, crisis support, or emergency services. Nothing a companion says should be treated as diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice. Always seek the guidance of a qualified professional for questions about your mental or physical health.

5. Crisis Information

If you are in crisis, feeling unsafe, or at risk of harming yourself or others, ConnectSphere is not the right place to seek help. Please contact a qualified professional or emergency service immediately:

6. User Responsibility

You are responsible for your use of ConnectSphere and for any decisions you make based on conversations with a companion. You agree to use the service as a supplement to — not a replacement for — real-world connections and professional support. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

7. Platonic Use

ConnectSphere is strictly platonic. Companions will not engage in romantic, flirtatious, or sexually suggestive conversation, and you agree not to use the service to seek romantic or sexual interaction. Companions are designed to offer warm, friendly support — nothing more, nothing less.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use ConnectSphere to harm, harass, threaten, or deceive others;
• Attempt to make a companion behave outside its ethical and safety guidelines;
• Share or request content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, or sexually explicit;
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or misuse the service or its data;
• Use the service in any way that could damage or disrupt it.

9. Free Trial & Billing

ConnectSphere offers a 7-day free trial of the full experience. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your selected plan (Essential or Full) will begin automatically and your payment method will be charged the recurring monthly fee shown at checkout. You may change or cancel your subscription at any time through your account or the Stripe billing portal. Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds are handled at our discretion in line with applicable law.

10. Privacy

Your use of ConnectSphere is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. Your conversations are private to your account, and we do not sell your data to advertisers. Please review the Privacy Policy for full details.

11. Limitation of Liability

ConnectSphere is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConnectSphere and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any reliance on companion output or any interruption, inaccuracy, or unavailability of the service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You and ConnectSphere submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia in respect of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of ConnectSphere after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
